Jeshua: A Man of 3026 Jeshua is a diverse ethnicity American living in the year 3026, a thousand years after our present day. By his time, Earth has changed dramatically. The planet is considerably warmer than it was in 2026. Icebergs still exist in the far north, but only a fraction of the polar ice remains. Many islands and coastal regions have disappeared beneath rising seas, forcing millions of people to become refugees and relocate to places with more available land. Some communities survive on government provided ships, while others live in enormous stilt houses and traditional style pile dwellings adapted for a flooded world. With land becoming increasingly scarce, there are very few people who still live in traditional houses. Most of the world's population lives in massive apartment towers, where thousands of people can live within a relatively small area. Migration has become one of the defining issues of the century, with many people moving to regions that still have ava...

OUTSIDE - A Zombie Film

Image
I was quite impressed with this zombie film when I came across it on Netflix, especially since it's a film from the Philippines featuring my favorite actor, Sid Lucero. I remember he was chosen by Lav Diaz, my favorite Filipino director, to play a psychopathic character in Norte, the End of History , a film based on my hometown in the Philippines. This filmmaker is now officially one of my favorites as well. The story takes place in a secluded Spanish colonial-era home, a decaying estate in the countryside that was once the childhood home of Francis. As a deadly zombie outbreak spreads, Francis and his family seek refuge inside the house, but tensions quickly ...

PESTILENT: The Synopsis

As of now, I am still searching for traditional publishers—yes, you can have multiple publishers if your book is exceptional. On the other hand, my ambitions extend beyond just publishing; I also envision it being adapted into a movie. As I mentioned before, this process may take weeks to several months, filled with thousands of Query Letter rejections that can cause paranoia. Sometimes, it feels like my castaway homie is spoofing my emails just to mess with my mind while I search for publishers that align with the type of manuscript they’re looking for. In the meantime, I’m taking a break from writing and mostly blogging on Facebook and my blogging websites. The rest of my time is spent working out at the gym, enjoying foodies, and returning to my humble music studio to remake some of my older self-published musical albums, as well as create new material. Perhaps, sign a record label for more music streams. You can visit my SoundCloud to listen to my tracks. Synopsis: The story begi...
