Inabraw : What I love about this dish is that it is so simple to make, tastes great, and is healthy for you. I can use any fish with this dish. As for now, I'm adding two of these striped bass. It'll be fried. It's a good thing the Asian market frying service is free. What makes the Inabraw stew. Jute leaves . Two frozen pacts of these are all I need today. Any safe edible mushrooms work for the Inabraw. This oyster mushroom works well with the stew. I love this gourd. I don't know about you, but I can eat this in any soup or stew, and I won't crave any carnivore diet.  They don't carry the half once. This calabaza squash is dangerous to cut in half.  You also be needing ginger for the Inabraw Ingredients. Fish sauce for sodium or to balance the taste. Also add water before cooking the Inabraw. Dinner time. I couldn't finish the appetizers but I did on the Inabraw. If you haven't got a copy of SWARM: The Pentalogy yet, please I best recommend to do so....

SWARM: The Pentalogy

Image
Mission accomplished! The manuscript turned out to be so long that I decided to split it into a five-novella series. While the length was a factor in this decision, it wasn't the only one. Self-publishing such a lengthy manuscript on a tight budget proved challenging. Additionally, breaking the story into novellas allowed me to explore the narrative one novella at a time, providing an opportunity to grow as a storyteller and enhance my writing skills. I'm excited to announce that SWARM: The Pentalogy  is now available on Amazon .  SWARM: The Pentalogy is a single book that contains all five novellas. You can read them separately or collect the entire series in one volume. Nathan and David, two college friends from Berkeley, embark on a duck hunting trip in Michigan with Raymond. However, their adventure takes a surreal turn when they stumble upon a mysterious portal that thrusts them into the distant future. In this future, Earth is a humid, waterlogged world with only a few s...

Juan of the Dead

Image
Juan of the Dead is a 2011 Cuban-Spanish comedy horror film directed by Alejandro Brugués. This unique take on the zombie genre is known for its satirical humor and inventive storytelling. The story is set in Havana, Cuba, where a group of friends, led by the titular character, Juan, portrayed by Alexis Díaz de Villegas , confronts a zombie apocalypse. Rather than succumbing to fear, they decide to turn it into a business, offering their services as "zombie exterminators" to those who want to rid themselves of the undead menace. The film blends elements of horror, comedy, and social commentary, using the zombie outbreak as a metaphor for the everyday struggles faced by ordinary Cubans. Written and directed by Alejandro Brugués , the film's screenplay is notable for its witty humor and its ability to seamlessly weave political satire and social commentary into the zombie apocalypse narrative. "Juan of the Dead" stands out as a fresh and entertaining addition t...

It offers a unique take on the zombie genre, emphasizing the psychological aspects of survival. The film Night Eats the World (original title "La Nuit a dévoré le monde") is directed by Dominique Rocher . The screenplay for the film is based on a novel by Pit Agarmen , and the adaptation for the screen was done by Jérémie Guez , Guillaume Lemans , and Dominique Rocher . This film is a masterpiece. It stands out from other zombie films due to the zombies' notably quiet behavior, which I find quite appe...

The Crazies

Image
The Crazies is a 2010 horror-thriller film directed by Breck Eisner . It is a remake of George A. Romero's 1973 film of the same name. The story is set in a small town where a toxin contaminates the water supply, causing the residents to go insane and turn violent. The film follows the struggles of the town's sheriff and his wife as they try to survive and escape the chaos. It's known for its tense and suspenseful atmosphere, as well as its exploration of the breakdown of society in a crisis. Zombies with guns? Well, not exactly reanimated corpses, but rather living beings infected with a virus that compels them to kill each other, ultimately resembling zombies, regardless of their previous personalities. It all began when some kind of biological weapon contaminated a military plane, causing it to crash-land in a small town's lake, contaminating the water supply. As people drank the water, they initially developed Alzheimer's symptoms and slowly transformed into t...

Train to Busan 2: PENINSULA

Image
Train to Busan 2 , also known as Peninsula , is a South Korean zombie apocalypse film and the sequel to the 2016 film Train to Busan . In Peninsula , the story is set four years after the events of the first film. It follows a soldier named Jung-seok, who is sent on a mission to retrieve an enormous sum of money left in the quarantined and zombie-infested city of Incheon. Jung-seok and his team must navigate this dangerous, post-apocalyptic world while contending with not only the undead but also human survivors who have become ruthless in their struggle to survive. The film explores themes of survival, loss, and the dark aspects of human nature in a world overrun by zombies. Exploring more zombie films, predominantly of Korean origin, I initially assumed a different director, but as the film unfolded, the familiar emotional depth emerged. It is the same filmmaker  Yeon Sang-ho .  In this desolate city overrun by zombies, corrupt individuals exploit the remnants, with soldier...
