Alien: Romulus

Image
Alien: Romulus is a 2024 science fiction horror film directed by Fede Álvarez and produced by Ridley Scott. The screenplay was written by Álvarez and Rodo Sayagues. Set in the Alien universe, the film follows a group of space colonists who stumble upon a derelict space station while searching for cryo-chambers. Their mission quickly turns into a terrifying ordeal when they discover the station is infested with deadly xenomorphs. The film harkens back to the classic horror elements of the original Alien, focusing on suspense, atmosphere, and the relentless pursuit of a deadly creature. Rain, a fierce and resourceful member of the colony, becomes the de facto leader after the crew's decimation. She exhibits a level of courage and responsibility reminiscent of Ripley, fearlessly facing the xenomorphs and devising strategies to outsmart the Aliens. Just not as tall as Ripley; Ripley is 5'10" while Rain is 4'10", I believe. H.R. Giger's iconic Alien design remains

PESTILENT: Query Letter

Image
I know it’s bad to blog about my query letter, but either way, since I’ve noticed that I’m also a TI, it’s likely that the Asian Mafia or Reptilians blocked this awesome blog post. I don’t really know why, but ever since they discovered I can design an off-the-grid modern cabin, my Facebook content seems to be selected only to be viewed by dorks like me or relatives who are gaining popularity, and not far in need of collaboration of opening a profitable goat milk farm business any longer – It’s sad to say, though, that most of the potential collaborators have passed on back in my old village. However, I will write about them, or a village similar to it, in my storytelling. And I guarantee you will like them as well. Anyhow, this is my version of the query letter, and it’s much different now. I like it better after the editor ’s revisions. But I’d rather keep it private. If you’re a literary agent or publisher, please feel free to check out this query letter. Subject: Query for “PES

PESTILENT (update)

Image
Chapter 22 The Ham Radios   1 In the desolate landscape of an abandoned city street, a monstrous entity, standing at a towering height of fifteen feet, emerges with an ominous presence. Its bloated belly pouch, resembling a grotesque sac of impending doom, houses a deadly virus that, upon release through a menacing fart, swiftly extinguishes human life and reanimates the deceased into mobile corpses within a mere ten seconds. A menacingly large mouth adorned with razor-sharp teeth enhances the creature’s colossal form. In addition, it has no nose, eyes, or ears, making space for its vital brain to be shielded by steel on half of the head.           The impenetrable steel covering renders the monster resistant to bullets. The Pestilent is blind, yet it possesses acute super senses that extend for a mile, allowing it to track its prey with extraordinary accuracy. Its thick neck bears the weight of its massive head, and with long limbs, this monstrous creation moves with astonishing
