Pumping Some Iron

I can't sleep because I'm thinking about going to the gym. I might as well blog about it. For a long time, other than walking around the parking lot at work for 15 minutes three times a day as part of my job as a security guard, I did a workout right after work using the equipment I had in my bedroom.

I took the advice of Egan Inoue a retired MMA fighter from Hawaii to give myself some minutes to workout instead of making excuses about not having time. And it felt good afterward, just like he said it would.

I did plan to go to the gym after finishing the SWARM Series and after publishing SWARM: The Pentalogy, which will be all five series in one, around 700+ pages.

It's not because it is costly for my budget as a security guard. The affordable one around my neighborhood costs only 10 dollars monthly, with 45-something dollars to join. That place is Planet Fitness. And it has all the primary machines and free weights you need, including many cardio machines. My excuse for skipping the gym is about making up the time. Suppose I am a millionaire; sure, why not. I wouldn't be working as a security guard anymore and have the extra time. The rest is doing that right after or before working in the office, writing stories, painting expressionism, or making melodies would be great. But saving gas is one reason right now; although the gyms are pretty close, I still need the extra pennies for book publishing, buying groceries, cooking gourmets, and things like that. However, it will be nice to post working out on Instagram.

My goal is to lose a bit of my gut using a Resistance Band attached to my bedroom door. It won't take long: I just need to walk to my room, change clothes, drink some water, do 100 standing crunches, and then do 3 sets of 30 pushes using both arms. This time, I'll have time to listen to audiobooks, which will help me stay motivated to repeat the session 3 times. I might even do it more if I'm feeling up to it.

I did 15 reps of simple curls with my dumbbells in 3 sets. Due to my stroke in 2016, my left side has been weak, so I used 10 pounds for my left arm and 30 pounds for my right arm. I apologize for the dirty carpet. I will dust and vacuum it this week. I was in the zone finishing SWARM.

People ask me why I am still working so hard, even though I am being harassed by gangstalkers who are probably hired by reptilians. I do it because I have to. I don't know how much longer I have before I am too will be demised. Basically, it's my passion. It's most likely what I will do regardless of getting laid on a paradise Island. To be honest, I always thought there might be another way to win the Mega Lottery. I had no luck when my mother asked me to buy a ticket for myself whenever I purchased her a Quick Pick ticket.

I'm fascinated by the Indian Gada workout, which uses a club or mace, or even both. I may try it later.

Here are simple illustrations of doing the Gada workout.

I will probably have these around the backyard. I still have more to learn about these equipment.
